THE CRUST CONDUCTOR TAKEOVER
Sunday 12th February, 2017
Copeland Road, Peckham (map)

A lazy Sunday afternoon takeover of the wood oven at The Crust Conductor.

Laurie Stewart and Jonny Henfrey run The Crust Conductor - a wood-fired pizza restaurant on a Leyland Titan bus. Previously based outside Jonny's pub, The Gowlett in Peckham, they have taken the bus to festivals like Glastonbury and the Lambeth Country Show, and in 2015 they were resident at Banksy's Dismaland in Weston-super-Mare. For the winter, they were parked up behind the Bussey building off Rye Lane in Peckham.

We cooked a five course menu on the bus, served family-style on the top deck. The wood oven lent its magic to some great seasonal ingredients, and we played our favourite tunes.
